Elkins Pilots Club
Change in Leadership:
After several years as club president Mike Cottle has decided to step down as club president. Mike took first took over the position as
president during a time when the club was struggling for survival and it was through his vision and leadership that there is a club today. The club owes Mike a tremendous debt of thanks and it is with sorrow that we see him pass on the torch.
Mike will be succeeded by Frank Heffernan. Although new to the club Frank has been working tirelessly since his arrival to help improve
the club and raise awareness of the clubs activities. Frank has been involved in aviation for most of his life both. Frank was a CFI at Alexandria Airport in Milford, NJ for many years and also wrote and taught Chatham High School’s aviation curriculum. His love of aviation has never waivered and his current goal is to continue to further aviation interests in our area.
The club welcomes Frank and looks forward to his leadership over the coming years.
Please join us in welcoming Frank to his new role.
